whimsical
You find yourself mindlessly walking down a long and winding road.
There's something peculiar about this place. You're quite sure you've never been here before, yet somehow it feels oddly familiar.
A pleasant smell of your beloved childhood sweets lingers in the air. You can almost taste it, so sweet and tender, fresh out of the oven.
And on your skin you feel a thousand tiny kisses. It's quite a drizzle, but the sun is also shining. You don't seem to mind the rain as much as you used to.
You feel a following gaze upon you that's coming from the eye shaped markings on the trees. And up in the twisting spiraling trees that you don't quite recognise you hear some birds singing their songs as the sun is getting closer to the horizon. The grass around you dances to the chime of the birds
And from under comes this crunchy noise that resonates endlessly in the forest, made by your footsteps against what seem to be colored translucent pebbles.
