Something is haunting thenight
Mountains and forests are troubled in this land. Something is haunting the night.
I saw the smoke from a distance and ride my horse to there. First settlement I saw after weeks. Nothing but forests and mountains on horseback for days. My horse is tired. I am tired. Small village. Seems remote. Smoke is coming from a barn. No one is around. I entered the barn. No one seems noticed. Crowd is carefully listening a blind elder man around this big fire place. Everybody looks terrified. Women and children are crying .
“None of us are safe” old man said. “Until he is satisfied and takes what he wants, he will suck your women’s blood and made them his bride” …I have heard this kind of stories before. I am always up for a good story. But I am so tired. So I rent a room and get ready to sleep...but I couldn't. I went down and talked to the old man. After I heard the stories, I decided to go back to my room and write what i heard. And study what was written before.I opened my ancient books, fellow traveler chronicles and ancient spell books. Many things to read and understand. I will be here for a while.
