Krieg camp
The enemy had been routed from this location just yesterday. Already earthworks are being set up along the perimeter, fresh trenches being dug in an endless cadence. You've been on this one trench since last night and it is now early morning. The frontlines have since moved on, but you can still hear the cannon fire from here. This position is still highly defensible and has been purposed for base camp. Tanks rumble on by, as do several Death Riders and their mounts, their cloven hooves clattering on hard packed dirt. There is very little radio chatter, and little else in your ears save for the whine of a single hades breaching drill several yards away. That and your own labored breathin your ears.
