Beneath the Branches
The branches of the great tree move and rustle as, far above, a quiet wind whispers amongst its tresses. Little birds hop and skitter, singing sweet songs. Below, the daughters of the House of Malconaire gather -- to sew, to play, to laugh. Whatever else may come or go, these moments, at least, remain.
