A Thief in the Night
Without warning, a squat figure draped in dirty rags
darts from the shadows looking frantically back over
his shoulder and careens into you. Stumbling back,
the figure points urgently toward the back of the alley
and quickly rushes off along the sloping street and
through a gate into the busy Crow’s End District
